Adaptation of the Self-Directed Learning Self-Assessment Scale and The Self-Directed Learning Perceptions of University Students

Bu araştırmada, Williamson (2007) tarafından geliştirilen ‘Kendi Kendine Öğrenme Öz Değerlendirme Ölçeği’ni Türk kültürüne uyarlanıp üniversite öğrencilerinin kendi kendine öğrenme algılarının çeşitli değişkenlere göre anlamlı farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemek amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemi, Atatürk Üniversitesi bünyesinde farklı bölümlerde öğrenim gören 441 öğrencisinden oluşmaktadır. Açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonuçlarına tek boyutlu bir yapı ortaya çıkmıştır. Doğrulayıcı sonuçları da faktörlü yapıyı doğrulamıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, algıları cinsiyet, yaş, bölüm ve sınıf değişkenlerine göstermediği fakat öğretim kademesi değişkenine gösterdiği Üniversite yüksek olduğu elde edilmiştir. Ölçekten alınan puan ortalamalarına bakıldığı zaman kadın öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere yirmi iki yaş üzeri altı Türkçe Sosyal İlahiyat, Fen Matematik, Temel Eğitim Bilimleri birinci sınıfta görenlerin ikinci, üçüncü dördüncü görenlere daha belirlenmiştir. Ayrıca lisansüstü eğitim alan lisans eğitimi düzeyde sonucuna varılmıştır.
